Andres Bonifacio was a Filipino revolutionary leader and one of the key figures in the Philippine Revolution against Spanish colonial rule. He is known as the "Father of the Philippine Revolution" and played a significant role in organizing and leading the Katipunan, a secret society that aimed to achieve independence from Spain. Bonifacio's leadership and his call for armed resistance inspired many Filipinos to join the revolution and fight for their freedom. However, he was ultimately executed by his fellow revolutionaries in 1897.
